“One never knows when you might be a beneficiary of the investment in medical research,” says Austin Sewell. Molly Ann adds, “But you know that there always will be somebody who will be helped”. The first donation Austin and Molly Ann ever made to Dalhousie Medical Research Foundation was a Memorial gift in 1994. Since then they have chosen the Foundation as one of their “charities of choice” supporting the Foundation’s annual Molly Appeal. “Austin and I are quite selective and tend to focus on those organizations that are concerned with everyday issues that affect us all, such as medical science.”
