Awards of Excellence

Celebrating excellence

In 2001, the DMRF hosted the first ever Community of Scholars gala awards dinner. The event has since become an annual celebration of excellence in research, medical education, clinical care and professional (staff) performance – an opportunity to publicly and collectively acknowledge, reward and encourage the outstanding accomplishments of Dalhousie Medical School’s faculty and staff.  The Medical School supports the education, clinical and staff awards while DMRF supports the Awards of Excellence in Medical Research, outlined below.

Rewarding senior faculty:

Rewarding junior faculty:

They are given to junior researchers to support research excellence into the future.
