Dr. Patrick Lee, Cameron Chair in Basic Cancer Research

Dr. Patrick Lee is a leading cancer researcher known around the world for his discovery that a common virus can infect and kill cancer cells. He joined Dalhousie Medical School from the University of Calgary in 2003, to accept the new Cameron Chair in Basic Cancer Research. This chair was created through the unprecedented generosity of the late Mrs. Beatrice Hunter. Dr. Lee will provide leadership and focus to Dalhousie’s cancer research effort.
