The Dr. Richard Goldbloom Medal in Pediatrics was established in to recognize Dr. Goldbloom’s many contributions as head of the Department of Pediatrics. It is awarded annually to a graduating medical student who has demonstrated outstanding medical knowledge and clinical skills, along with great sensitivity to the emotional needs of children and their families. Dr. Jordan Sheriko received this medal in 2011, based on an outstanding performance throughout her pediatrics rotation.
